MORE BROKEN, MORE BEAUTIFUL – KINTSUKUROI WORKSHOP
時光的藝術—金繕工作坊

Immerse yourself in an incredible journey of Kintsukuroi, transforming broken pottery pieces into glittering works of art. Kintsukuroi is a centuries-old Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with a natural lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold to beautify the broken areas and cracks. Local artist and enthusiast of neo-orientalism, Leung Chi Ho is invited to demonstrate the skill of this ceramic art repair techniques used in the past and applied in museums today. Participants can also complete their own masterpiece under the guidance of this rising artist.

一起投入金繕工藝的奇妙旅程,運用美學技巧讓破損的陶瓷器皿重生!具有數百年歷史之金繕,是日本傳統工藝和自然修復技巧,主要利用天然大漆修補破損陶瓷器皿,並以金粉勾補,將殘缺部分演變為藝術。工作坊將由本地藝術家梁子豪任教,從傳統及當代博物館的修復技術開始,帶領參加者完成其獨一無二的金繕作品。
